KUALA LUMPUR (2 APRIL 2019): The LFC World presented by Standard Chartered is set to take Kuala Lumpur by storm this month with a line-up of exciting activities that will take place at Centre Court, One Utama. Die-hard Liverpool fans will have the chance to feel the ‘Anfield Experience’ throughout the two-day event which is scheduled for April 20-21.Three former Liverpool stars – Sami Hyypia, Jason McAteer, and Steve McManaman – will be joining local supporters for a whole host of activities for all ages. Local young talent will also stand a chance to take part in a football clinic involving the trio which will take place at Padang@1U on both days.
The main attraction when the star trio visit Kuala Lumpur will be the activities that will take place at the LFC World Hub in One Utama where local Liverpool fans can soak in an authentic Anfield atmosphere.
Hyypia, a former Liverpool captain, said: “For Reds’ fans in Malaysia, LFC World Kuala Lumpur is the place to be. We know not all our fans can make it to Anfield so this is our way of bringing Anfield to them. We can’t wait to meet everyone, it’s going to be a fantastic weekend.”
Not only can dedicated Liverpool supporters take part in all these LFC activities, but they can also share the Anfield atmosphere at a free-to-attend viewing party on (Sunday) April 21 at the LFC World Hub. There will be live on-stage activities with LFC Legends prior to the match against Cardiff City which kicks off at 11pm.
