Life-size character cars from the animated film Cars on display at All About Wheels 2022, MIECC

The 5th Velocity Motor Show returns with All About Wheels 2022 at MIECC, featuring Monster Trucks imported from Thailand, life-size Cars movie vehicles and a host of automotive and lifestyle attractions.

SERI KEMBANGAN (25 November 2022): Velocity Motor Show is back with impressive displays of the finest show cars from across Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, as well as exciting competitions aligned with today's trendiest lifestyle attractions.

The first indoor event of its kind, All About Wheels 2022 (AAW2022), powered by Pulzar Lubricant, will feature world-standard Monster Trucks imported from Thailand, the finest automotive displays and lifestyle attractions, while providing a platform for business opportunities in the automotive industry. Aimed at a wide audience, including families with children, Velocity Motor Show's primary objective is to celebrate automotive and street lifestyles together.

The main highlights of AAW2022 include two Monster Trucks and three life-size cars from the popular Cars movie, including Lightning McQueen. Velocity Motor Show expects these centrepieces to draw younger audiences, giving them the chance to see well-known movie characters up close.

Catering further to its younger audience, Velocity Motor Show is also organising a Push Bike Competition for children aged two to six.

Velocity Motor Show founder and owner Jason Tan said he was impressed with the level of participation in this year's edition.

"We're proud to successfully attract and showcase various overseas vehicles such as the Monster Trucks at our prestigious event. We also aim to establish Velocity Motor Show as the premier name in Malaysia's lifestyle automotive show industry, while building a stronghold across the Asian region. We hope to sustain and grow this venture during the Malaysia Day period for years to come at MIECC," he said.

While AAW2022 focuses on an interactive and lively atmosphere for children, Velocity Motor Show also offers show-goers other automotive attractions in the Main Hall, Level One. These include WrapFest (automotive stickers, vinyl and PPF film protection), TunerFest (big engines, turbos, loud exhausts, JDMs and Contis), AirFest (air-suspension cars), 4X4Fest (four-wheel drives) and AutoFest, presenting the latest Subaru XV SUV as the Official Car of the event.

Live music, DJs, tattoo artists, a Hot Wheels die-cast collectors' market and BikeFest – a display of two-wheelers featuring Harley-Davidson, Vespa, Aprilia and Official Bike Royal Enfield – complete the excitement on the Main Hall's Upper Mezzanine Floor. The three-day event will also feature the first Royal Enfield Bike Show N Shine competition, as well as e-bikes, which are becoming increasingly popular as future lifestyle vehicles.

A three-day Muay Thai showcase will also be held, with a major bout on Saturday on the Upper Mezzanine floor from 11am to 5pm. On Saturday night, the Upper Mezzanine stage will host a special promotion for the new Malay film Rempit 2, featuring well-known actors Farid Kamil and Cat Farish.

Tickets for All About Wheels 2022 can be purchased at the ticketing counter at Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) during the event, from 10am to 10pm. Daily entry is RM30 for those aged 13 and above, RM15 for those aged six to 12, and free for children aged five and below.
