DISCOVERY, INC.TO AIR ‘FEARLESS: RISE OF THE SOUTHERN TIGERS’ IN SOUTHEAST ASIA, TAIWAN, AND HONG KONG

10 September 2021, Malaysia / Singapore: Johor Darul Ta’zim FC are delighted to announce that Discovery, Inc. has acquired ‘Fearless: Rise of the Southern Tigers’ from distributors 108 Media to air across Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

‘Fearless: Rise of the Southern Tigers’ tells the behind-the-scenes story of how Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) is managed, and the changes Johor football has undergone since HRH Tunku Ismail took helm in 2013.

Among stories told in the series include HRH Tunku Ismail’s vision for Johor and its football, how hands on the Crown Prince of Johor are, how the club grew from strength to strength, the backroom discussions on club decisions, the loyal Bangsa Johor fans and many more. Royal consort to the Crown Prince of Johor, HH Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda Bustamam also shares her experiences and describes just how passionate HRH Tunku Ismail is.

The series features interviews with the Technical Director Alistair Edwards, Sporting Director Martin Prest, Head Coach Benjamin Mora, former manager Luciano Figueroa, JDT Academy coaches, players, fans and other individuals at JDT. The cameras also follows several players and the head coach to their respective homes.
