Shekhinah’s dedication and efforts over the years came to fruition at the ‘PR Awards 2015 South-East Asia’ by Marketing magazine, which was held in Singapore on 5th March 2015. As one of the finalists in the ‘Best Engagement for a Targeted Community’ category, Shekhinah secured the bronze medal for its outstanding work in the ‘Protect the Goal’ campaign.

For the first time in Malaysia, the FIP World Cup Zone D Qualifier was held in Kuantan, Pahang on June 11-26, 2011. Capitalizing on the strength and depth of Shekhinah’s unyielding media relationships, the tournament received unprecedented media coverage, setting the benchmark in the world of polo with regards to publicity garnered, with a total PR value of RM11mil.

The best always wants to work with only the best in the business. And in the July 2011, the cream of the crop came together for the English Premier League Asia Tour 2011.
Shekhinah, a rapidly-growing PR agency renowned for its commendable relationships with the media and unparalleled strategic management ability, was appointed by Asia’s leading sports event promoter, ProEvents, to handle and facilitate all PR aspects of the tour which featured EPL powerhouses Arsenal (July 13), Liverpool (July 16) and Chelsea (July 21) against the Malaysian national team at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

At the forefront of one of the most significant and historical sporting affair the country has ever witnessed, with three EPL bigwigs touching down in the space of two weeks for the first time ever, Shekhinah had been meticulously planning for six months leading up to the successful tour. Our agency managed to further fortify its social relationship by facilitating a record-signing of 16 media partnerships in total for the event.
Shekhinah’s has a penchant for creating widespread awareness as well as cultivating public interest. This was evident during the EPL Asia Tour. Shekhinah managed to draw in the crowds at soaring levels. The crowd numbers during three high-profile matches, 65,000 (Arsenal), 84,000 (Liverpool) and 86,000 (Chelsea), serve as a great testament to our aptitude and capacity to handle any event at the biggest scale of things. Shekhinah has also been entrusted with the accounts of some of the world’s top brand. In the last two years, we have assisted Nike Malaysia in boosting and beating their biggest rivals when it came to media coverage.

From PR to events, Shekhinah has helped Nike effectively accomplish the coveted status not only as a major manufacturer, but also a leader in sports. More recently, Shekhinah was involved with the maiden Gunners Challenge KL 2011 at Mid Valley in July 2011 which saw Malaysia’s brightest, unearthed footballers taken under the tutelage Arsenal’s very own young guns, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Alex Song and Wojciech Szczesny. The event saw more than 100 teams pit themselves in a five-a-side tournament to stake their claim for a once in a lifetime experience under the watchful eyes of some of the most renowned players in the world.
In 2012, Shekhinah PR was given the privilege and trust in media consultancy works for the 1Malaysia Cardiff City Football Club (1MCC) development programmes in Malaysia as well as media consultancy for the Malaysian Armed Forces Football Association (ATM FA) or widely known as The Gladiators, and the Yamaha ASEAN Cup 2013. Shekhinah was also involved in English Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester City pre-season tours of Kuala Lumpur in 2012.
The Malaysian Armed Forces FA and 1MCC, convinced with the excellent work of Shekhinah, entrusted us to continue with their development and media consultancy for 2013. Apart from this, Shekhinah was also involved in the US$1 million Axiata Cup – the world’s richest badminton team championships, which was held simultaneously in Surabaya, Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur (March 21-April 14). Currently, we are involved in the International Sepaktakraw Federation (ISTAF) SuperSeries 2013 (March to December,), Red Bull Tri-Nation Futsal championship in Kuala Terengganu (June) and Chelsea’s Asia Tour in July 2013.
